Usage
This template adds a page to Category:Wikipedia protected edit requests. It is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopedic content.
{{Editprotected}} is to be typed on the talkpage. Please make the request clear and specific as much as possible, and include a reason for the change. Provide the code if possible. Controversial requests, such as edits that are not in line with Wikipedia policy, and / or community consensus, may be refused.
The page on which the request is placed is automatically categorised into Category:Wikipedia protected edit requests. Administrators will check this category for protected edit requests to process.
This template is useful to edit pages in Wikipedia:List of indefinitely protected pages.
