How should the frontpage look? Should probably be discussed
My suggestion is to have it fairly clean, with not too many links, and instead divide most of the content in the wiki into main areas, such as:
- Memnons Guide
- Strategy pages, e.g. for each country and more general (a la how to get an economy up and working, how to civilize an unciv etc)
- Modding, if there is need to have such stuff here. Could perhaps ask Havard if he'd like to see his "Working with Victoria"-stuff here?
and let each area have a main page, with an overview of the area and a TOC
I moved all the chapter links for Memnon's manual into a dedicated index page, since I think it makes the main page "cleaner". Please let me know what you think! :)
Hi. I have been recently playing with Main Page look at eu2wiki. Now it looks somewhat less boring and monotonous. If you like it, of course feel free to adapt it on VickyWiki. --Rythin 22:54, 24 May 2005 (CEST)
- Not bad at all, congrats! :-) It does make the look less "standard", and I might be doing something of the kind here too. However, I don't think it's a goal to have a standardized look across the Paradox wikis, since each wiki has it's own community and purpose. Rafiki 06:46, 25 May 2005 (CEST)
- Of course, I don't think stadandarizing so different wikis is good, but just thought you would like to add a little flavour to your Main Page. BTW, I sent an email to you, Rafiki, about the Prize. What do you think? Rythin 11:00, 25 May 2005 (CEST)
