The original versions of these pages are taken from Valisk's "Nation Guide", as posted on the Vicky forums.
Sone of these are out of date. For example the page on the UK suggests that the UK has to release Canada, Australia and South Africe as dominions and that this is something to bear in mind when playing.
In fact only the AI has to release the dominions and a player is only likely todo so if he is roleplaying. For the time being I have thought it best to leave the original intact and and a commentary at the bottom.

I added stub tags to a lot of the shorter guides; no offense intended towards the original author, but the available information is pretty vague. I'm just hoping someone gets the bug to expand the articles into something more comprehensive. (I would do it myself, but I'm very much still a newbie.)

- No problem; the original articles where mostly intended as placeholders, meant to say a few words about the country in question till someone took them further. Some have, like with Prussia, there's still a lot of writing that can be done, for those so inclined. Rafiki 20:13, 12 Jun 2005 (CEST)
The fact that there are two pages for Country Guides is rather confusing, and some lengthy guides are on one page and not the other and vice-versa. This is bound to happen until someone think about changing the guide from page as long as it is deemed "long enough".
I think the best way would be to keep the most complete guide on the main page, and the list of all countries, with or without guide in the Country_Guides page (marquing some of them as stubb, and some as "to-do" page).
I may do that if no one objects.

Should I decide to write a guide for a country for which there alread is an extensive guide ie Prussia one dedicated to Victoria revolutions do I put it in with revolution guides or with Country guides
- Country guides. Though an extensive guide, Prussia has beomce pretty outdated, so IMHO the best thing would be to let a new guide take its place, perhaps moving the contents of the current guide to a different article. In any case, the way I see it, V:R is the main version of the game, and the "default" for articles that don't say specifically, should be to apply to V:R – Rafiki (talk) (help) 08:49, 15 May 2007 (CEST)
