I'm actually considering writing an article for this tonight, as it seems rather simple. Although there are some parts of this I honestly do not understand myself, Do the settings under the different alliance headers effect both the ai and human player? Further more, Are they even used? Also, I would think the Diplomacy field would effect either the chances of actions being a success or their cost, Can anyone tell me which it is?

Joining forums isn't really my thing, I'll probably just test it and find out myself sometime this week. I would do it right now, But I managed to break my own Hoi2 installation due to heavy modding and I don't want to wait the 20+ minutes(Darn all those .bmps) it takes for hoi2 to install :P. -Anonymous

Oh, I lurk around there quite often, and I haven't seen much on editing the difficulty. It is also true that guests without accounts can't search the topics, But I could always just go through it page-by-page :P. I did it before when I was trying to figure out which event commands changes from Hoi1 :P. -Anonymous

Looks like someone ended up doing this, Did anyone ever find out what Diplomacy actually effected? -Anonymous
