muslim = 0.8

This is a tech group.Muslim is the name of the tech group and 0.8 is the research speed.That means the countries which is in muslim tech group will research technologies at %80 speed.Tech group of a country can be changed via events

[edit] Tech Tables

Tech tables are the .txt files which contains the effects of the technologies.

trade_tech = "common/technologies/trade.txt"

In this case,trade_tech is the name of the research branch and "common/technologies/trade.txt" is the location of the table of this branch
