Isn't Genova an independent nation at the beginning of the GC? and doesn't it also have a couple of provinces near Crimea?--LordAithos 19:59, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

It's called Genoa, it has two provinces in Italy, Liguria and Corsica, and two between Georgia and Crimea, Kaffa and Azow. (Delra 11.02.2007
Yes, Genoa. I just wanted to point out that in the strategy it says Milan controls genoa, while in the GC this happens only if you start a bit later, isn't it?--LordAithos 11:27, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, you're right. It gets attacked by France, then taken over by Milan completely in 1464. Still having their two Crimea provinces though. I'd prefer all the guides to start in 1453 or state clearly that this is not the case...--Delra 12.02.2007

[edit] Venice 2 stories

  • In start attacked by Austria, after interesting war :), lost half provinces. (I played for Switzerland)
  • Another story, survived even Austria, (which fallen to me), got Milan, Switzerland to her. Later fallen to me :). (I played for Lithuania, I was very BB)
