Talk:Initial Slider Positions/MEIOU

From EU3 Wiki

Do we need this page? Its an awful lot of information about a mod. Dauth 22:33, 29 March 2012 (CEST)

It was a request, and it took me very little effort since I had already written the code to generate the table for the base game. I don't think it takes too much space or anything, but maybe it would be better off in the MEIOU forums. Does it really bother you? :p -- Junuxx (talk) 09:16, 18 September 2012 (CEST)
There's a chance of people asking, why this mod, why not my mod etc. I also used to be part of a wiki on modding a C&C game where we had dedicated sections for mods and the units they added so I'm used giving them a lot more dedicated space and keeping the mainspace as clear as possible. I realise this isn't the approach used here but I think I would prefer it to be in the forums instead of on the wiki. Dauth 09:33, 18 September 2012 (CEST)
Well, it's hardly MEIOU getting preferential treatment. I'm sure that if the Magna Mundi team asked Junuxx to put up their sliders he would, or if Rising Nations' were asked for. This is a big, popular mod - just to demonstrate, the page has been accessed nearly 7000 times. And this isn't. strictly speaking, in article space, though it is helping the wiki do exactly what its goal is: getting all the information on this game in one place.
