Attrition is also applied whenever an army first moves into a province, for that army only, if it in doing so pushes the number of troops above the supply limit. Try marching a 10k all-cavalry army through a province. Even though it's out again before the 1st, it still suffers attrition. - BzAli 18:15, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
