Russian Missions

Russia has 19 unique missions which lead it to expand to the east and west, wipe out the independent khanates in Central Asia, and generally become a major world power. Note that most of the Russian missions are also available to Muscowy.

Uniting the Russian lands

These missions are available to both Russia and Moscowy.

Subjugate Tver

Acquisition conditions: Tver borders you and is not your vassal Tver owns Tver province Relation less than 0 with Tver doubles the chances to get the mission	Success conditions: Tver is your vassal	Failure conditions: You are not independent Tver is minor partner in personal union Tver gets conquered by someone else
Reward: Gain core on Tver province
Comment: After successfully subjugating them, you have good chances to get soon another mission to demand annexation to gain a core on Rzhev and lose 2 Infamy (Conquest Mission: Annex Minor, chances are even higher after truce is over and with good military-skilled monarch). So it may be worth to wait for it before rushing diplo-annex.

Annex Yaroslavl

Acquisition conditions: You are independent Yaroslavl borders you and shares your religion Yaroslavl has less provinces than you and owns Yaroslavl province Relation at least 100 with Yaroslavl doubles the chances to get the mission Relation at 200 with Yaroslavl makes the chances to get the mission 4 times better	Success conditions: Yaroslavl gets annexed by you	Failure conditions: You are not independent Yaroslavl gets conquered by someone else Yaroslavl converts to another religion than yours
Reward: Gain core on Yaroslavl province and 5 prestige
Comment: I advise annexing them through a quick war, especially if they ally with/get guaranteed by minors like Tver/Ryazan, Georgia/Moldavia (who cannot reach you). If Novgorod or maybe Teutonic Order/Lithuania/Poland guaranties/allies them, it's up to you whether you can afford the war or go diplo-annex. If Tver joins them in the war against you, you can conquer them as well or white peace/demand tribute to allow you later the subjugation mission above.

Annex Ryazan

Acquisition conditions: You are independent Ryazan borders you and shares your religion Ryazan has less provinces than you and owns Ryazan province Relation at least 100 with Ryazan doubles the chances to get the mission Relation at 200 with Ryazan makes the chances to get the mission 4 times better	Success conditions: Ryazan gets annexed by you	Failure conditions: You are not independent Ryazan gets conquered by someone else Ryazan converts to another religion than yours
Reward: Gain core on Ryazan province and 5 prestige
Comment: Same as Yaroslavl (see above), you may need two wars to get them in HTTT, but they should be not match for you if isolated enough. Note that you will only get core on their capital province through this mission, not on the two other provinces.

Subjugate Novgorod

Acquisition conditions: You are independent Novgorod neighbours you and has less provinces than you Novgorod is independent Novgorod owns Novgorod, Olonets and Archangelsk	Success conditions: Novgorod is your vassal	Failure conditions: Novgorod get annexed Novgorod is minor partner in personal union You are not independent
Reward: Gain core on Novgorod, Olonets and Archangelsk

Annex Novgorod

Acquisition conditions: You are independent Novgorod is your vassal Novgorod neighbours you and has less provinces than you Novgorod owns Novgorod and is in your religion group	Success conditions: Novgorod gets annexed by you	Failure conditions: You are not independent Novgorod gets annexed by someone else Novgorod is not in your religion group
Reward: Gain 10 prestige and 2 stability

Fighting the Khanates

• Annex Qasim Khanate
• Defend Russian lands against the Mongols (Golden Horde)
• Cross the Mongol Border (Golden Horde)
• Subjugate Crimea
• Subjugate Kazan
• Subjugate the Siberian Khanate
• Subjugate Astrakhan

Western conquests

• Get access to the Baltic sea
• Conquer Finland
• Russia partitions Poland (only after 1700 and available to Russia)

Colonization

• Discover West Siberia
• Colony in West Siberia
• Discover East Siberia
• Colony in East Siberia
