Retreating Rebels

This is a Country event in which national troops defeat rebels and end the civil war.


The following conditions must be met for the event to fire:

  • One has the country flag Civil War.
  • One has a monarch with a Military setting of 5 or higher.


The mean time to happen for this event is 48 months.

  • Stability of 1 decreases MTTH by 10%.
  • Stability of 2 decreases MTTH by 20%.
  • Stability of 3 decreases MTTH by 30%.
  • Prestige of 20 decreases MTTH by 10%.
  • Prestige of 30 decreases MTTH by 20%.
  • Prestige of 40 decreases MTTH by 30%.
  • Prestige of 0 or less increases MTTH by 30%.
  • Stability of -1, -2 or -3 increases MTTH by 30%.


Option 1: Prepare for a final battle

  • Clear all Civil War series country flags.
  • Treasury is decreased by 65 ducats.
  • Set Country Modifier, "Battle Preparations" for 100 days with the following effects:
    • Land Morale is increased by 5%.
    • Regimental recruitment speed is decreased by 20%.


Option 2: Let them run

  • Clear all Civil War series country flags.
  • Stability is decreased by 2 points.
  • badboy is decreased by 3 points.
