This is a country event in which One receives a university or fine arts academy at a discount price.
The following conditions must be met for the event to fire:
- One has as least 25 cities.
- One has an Artist advisor.
- One has the National idea, Patron of the Arts.
- One has at least 500 ducats in the treasury.
The mean time to happen for this event is 240 months.
- Innovated/Narrowminded slider at -3 decreases MTTH by 10%.
- Innovated/Narrowminded slider at -4 decreases MTTH by 20%.
- Innovated/Narrowminded slider at -5 or lower decreases MTTH by 30%.
- Having a Philosopher advisor decreases MTTH by 10%.
- A level 5 artist decreases MTTH by 10%.
- A level 6 artist decreases MTTH by 20%.
- A level 1 or 2 artist increases MTTH by 10%.
- Stability of 2 decreases MTTH by 10%.
- Stability of 3 decreases MTTH by 20%.
Option 1: Invest in a university
- The AI has a 50% chance of selecting this option.
- Treasury is decreased by 500 ducats.
- Add a university to a random province without a manufactory.
Option 2: Invest in a fine arts academy
- The AI has a 30% chance of selecting this option.
- Treasury is decreased by 500 ducats.
- Add a fine arts academy to a random province without a manufactory.
Option 3: Investments are not an option at this stage
- The AI has a 20% chance of selecting this option.
- Treasury is increased by 200 ducats.
