This is a Province event in One is invited to join the Holy Roman Empire.
The following conditions must be met for the event to fire:
- Province is not part of the Holy Roman Empire.
- Any neighboring province is a member.
- One's relationship with The Emperor is 100 or higher
- One is not The Emperor.
- One is Christian.
The mean time to happen for this event is 300 months.
- Having relations with The Emperor at 100 decreases MTTH by 20%.
- Having relations with The Emperor at 150 decreases MTTH by 50%.
- Having a neighboring country as an Elector decreases MTTH by 10%.
- Being the same religion as The Emperor decreases MTTH by 10%.
- Not being the same religion as The Emperor increases MTTH by 10%.
- Having a Diplomat Advisor decreases MTTH by 10%.
- Not having a Diplomat Advisor increases MTTH by 10%.
- Having 4 Diplomats decreases MTTH by 10%.
Option 1: Prepare to join
- The AI has an 80% chance of selecting this option.
- Province becomes a member of the Holy Roman Empire.
- Prestige increases by 2%.
- Relations with The Emperor increases by 100.
Option 2: Stay neutral
- The AI has a 20% chance of selecting this option.
- Prestige decreases by 2%.
- Relations with The Emperor decreases by 100.
