Get involved in a land war in Asia

Why not? Asia is less attrition riddled than Africa or Russia, low tech, many spices & good resources, and is richer than all of them. I mean if there's a better way to earn oodles of land tradition I haven't found it.

They first step after land tech 9(for mauricians & regimental camps) would be getting a core there, preferably on an easy to defend island. If going east I suggest colonizing Cape, then annexing Ceylon(corales/jaffa). If going the long way west after taking over the Aztecs, I suggest Hawaii, Guam, then annexing Ryukyu. With the exception of Guam, everything is prime eating.

Next step is to get a core on the Indian/Ming mainland. I suggest camping about 20-25k infantry on Madras or Guangzhou. With a decent maneuver conquistador the attrition should only be abut 5% if its a problem you can just assault the level 1 fortress for instant occupation. then sit back and watch wave after wave of inferior soldiers break on your stack as per Spartans at Thermopylae, and in about a year you should have enough war score to annex the province, with tons of Land tradition to boot
