This is a country event in One is invited to become an Elector in the Holy Roman Empire.
The following conditions must be met for the event to fire:
- There are fewer than 8 Electors.
- One is not an Elector.
- One is not The Emperor.
- One's Capital province is in the Holy Roman Empire.
The mean time to happen for this event is 450 months.
- Having 5 or fewer Electors decreases MTTH by 40%.
- Having 3 or fewer Electors decreases MTTH by 100%.
- Having 1 Elector decreases MTTH by 120%.
- Having relations with The Emperor at 50 decreases MTTH by 10%.
- Having relations with The Emperor at 100 decreases MTTH by 20%.
- Having relations with The Emperor at 150 decreases MTTH by 30%.
- Being Catholic decreases MTTH by 10%.
- Not being Catholic increases MTTH by 10%.
- Stability of -1 increases MTTH by 10%.
- Stability of 1 decreases MTTH by 10%.
Option 1: An offer too good to pass
- The AI has a 90% chance of selecting this option.
- Become an Elector.
- Prestige increases 5%.
- Relations with The Emperor decreases by 100.
Option 2: Stay neutral
- The AI has a 10% chance of selecting this option.
- Prestige decreases 3%.
- Relations with The Emperor increases by 100.
